This morning I wake up to an email from Kevin. Attached to this email is a preview of the cover of the book we worked on together. I never knew what to expect, but I have to admit that I was surprised and absolutely stoked. It is a strange feeling when your first book gets ready to come out, anticipation and excitement all wrapped up in one.
If there is one thing I love about Blender that strictly dominates all other 3D packages is the attention given to bugs. I have used some programs that have had gone through several version releases carrying the same bugs from release to release. It is good to see that the team at the Blender Foundation knows when to set aside new features and address bugs before anything else.
So as of last night I have officially completed my Associates degree. Graduation isn't until next month but for all practical purposes I am done. I still have yet to receive my final grades from two class but I am not going to lose any sleep over that. This went by so fast that it is hard to believe, and when I pulled out of the campus parking lot the other night it was like any other night. Not sure what I expected to be honest, just thought it would feel different then it did.
