...is the Blender community. This software was built by a dedicated few who deserve credit and admiration that can not be measured. However the user community needs to grow up as a whole. After reading the responses to the "Against Another" article on BlenderNation.com, which is an independent project influenced by Big Buck Bunny with the production taking place in Maya, I was disgusted and embarrassed as both a Maya and Blender user. I too have been the target of harassment via derogatory emails from Blender users who are angry that a Maya user, author, plug-in developer, and instructor is hosting a BlenderArt Magazine mirror.
I want to wish the best of luck to Alex and rest of the production team. I look forward to seeing more on the progress of this animation. Keep your heads up and don't let the comments get you down, many of us are much more professional then that.
