What's in store for the next 'Array for Maya' release

The Array for Maya script is undergoing a huge re-write and overhaul of all its code. Even though I have sworn off new features there will be one more, which is more of an amendment to a current feature than anything else. Outside of the new-ish feature will be a vast improvement in performance when changing the array count. Also all preview objects will now be contained within a group node which will clean up the Outliner considerably.

The new-ish feature will be part of the 'Edit pivot point' feature. Currently there are 2 modes; Rotate and Scale. In the next release users will find a third radio button called 'Mesh'. When activated this feature will translate the Mesh leaving the pivots in place. Additionally the rotate and scale fields will be active, while in Mesh mode, which will allow a user to rotate and scale the mesh around its center point (the center of the bounding box for the mesh).

There is no ETA of when the next release will be. Since the current 1.2.1 release has appeared to be quite stable I am satisfied with leaving that one up for the time being as I refine the next release.
