The Undeclared Variable

In a recent discussion with the third member of Fracture, an individual who likes his name kept out of blogs and that Kevin and I refer to as 'The Machine', about a series of Maya bugs involving MEL, UI's, and cross-platform compatability has made yet another memorable quote:

"These things will probably never get fixed. They're too busy changing the icons and adding things like the viewport cube."

Anyone else out there that has worked in Maya extensively for at least the past 5 years will appreciate that comment.
